Virgin Mary Mosaic Made from 15,000 Easter Eggs

Ukrainian artist Oksana Mas has created an unusual mosaic portrait of the Virgin Mary, using 15,000 painted Easter Eggs.
Inside the gorgeous Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv, the giant mosaic weighs 2.5 tons and is made out of 15,000 wooden Easter Eggs. Oksana Mas started working on her masterpiece nine months ago, painting the eggs all by herself, but later children from all across the country got involved and helped out with the painting.

Bueno, hay que decir que los 15000 son de madera, los nuestros DE VERDAD, por lo que valen el quintuple (¿se dice así?) De esta manera nos colocamos en los 2000 y queda menos. Allá vosotros en retomar el impulso y seguir creando. En Internet he encontrado el enlace a un artículo de una familia alemana, que desde hace 36 años colorea huevos de pascua y decora con ellos el manzano que hay delante de su casa. Se ha convertido en una auténtica atracción turísitca. Este año, con la ayuda creativa de la hija, que lleva participando desde los 4 años de edad, han alcanzado los 9800 huevos. Una pasada. El año que viene quieren llegar hasta los 10.000 y con eso cerrar esta simpática iniciativa. ¿Será por huevos? BesoBeso, sigue dando la lata, yo tiraré del hilo. Nos vemos. Andrea.
